What an incredible experience to be part of the leading event for the global pharmaceutical industry. This year, we attended the full event in Milan, Italy and had a blast!
Our four colleagues, Manfred, Robin Hervé and Thomas, attended the event together, meeting longstanding clients and industry friends, held a great number of meetings that turned into meaningful discussions and had an inspiring and productive time.
Our Managing Director, Thomas, held a panel discussion about the lack of innovation in the pharma industry, outside its core R&D, which ended up being a highly engaging and exciting conversation!
The CPHI Pharma Awards have been awarded once again, with Thomas being one of the judges. A big congratulation to one of our clients, Guy Clark from CNX Therapeutics, who received the award for CEO of the year! That evening was filled with innovation and highlighted numerous remarkable accomplishments.
After three dynamic days at CPHI, our CDMO/Pharma Services expert Hervé shared his key takeaway, that the CDMO sector is optimistic, with strategic ownership changes driving value creation and M&A activity, while focused players continue to thrive in a market leaning strongly toward outsourcing.
Our licensing expert, Manfred, also had a few interesting observations after attending the event for three days. He sees a strong interest in out-licensing between Europe and GCC markets, CDMO companies thriving in niche areas like biologics and advanced delivery forms, and overall industry optimism reflected in the event’s high energy and attendance.
We are already looking forward to next year’s CPHI in Frankfurt. Let’s keep building the future of healthcare together!
