Achim Seyr

Achim is the Partner of ISP HEALTHCARE. He has more than 15 years experience in assessing and investing in healthcare and life sciences businesses and building world class healthcare companies. Before founding ISP HEALTHCARE, he built the successful investor advice and international businesses at a leading German healthcare consultancy. He started his career at a global strategy consulting firm in Munich, London, and Sao Paulo. He completed his studies at the London School of Economics and Bocconi University of Milan.

Thomas Kern

Thomas is Partner at ISP HEALTHCARE and the founder of VINC. He has more than 15 years of experience, is a successful life science and healthcare corporate finance advisor, capital sourcing expert, investor and mentor. With his large network and long-standing experience in working with Healthcare and Life Sciences companies he’s a trusted partner to his clients. Building bridges between company owners and investors, constructing compelling equity stories, deal moderation and negotiation are his specialty. Thomas started his career in bulge bracket investment banking and after that he led the build-up of the healthcare practice of a European investment banking boutique. He completed his studies at the London School of Economics and the IMC Krems.

Matthias Reich

Matthias is Partner at ISP HEALTHCARE. He has more than 10 years of professional experience as a management consultant for investor advice. At ISP HEALTHCARE he is focused on medtech and the healthcare provider space. Prior to joining ISP HEALTHCARE, he worked as Principal for a leading management consulting firm in the healthcare industry. Matthias completed his master’s degree in engineering at the Technical University of Munich and Nanyang Technological University in Singapore.

Dr. Dr. Dirk Knüppel

Dirk is Partner at ISP HEALTHCARE. He has more than 30 years experience in healthcare in multiple countries. At ISP HEALTHCARE he is focused on the healthcare provider space and medtech. Prior to joining ISP HEALTHCARE, he held several senior executive and board positions in in- and outpatient service provider organizations. In addition, he used to work in the healthcare practice of a global management consultancy for 5 years. Dirk completed his medical degree at Justus-Liebig-University of Gießen, University of Melbourne and Penn State University in Hershey. Furthermore, he holds a diploma in economics from University of Cooperative Education in Mannheim and Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia.

Principal

Dr. Sabine Aresin-Häfner

Sabine is Principal at ISP HEALTHCARE. Her focus lies on investor support, performing commercial due diligence and developing value creation strategies. Sabine started her career with investor advice at a large international consulting firm in the DACH region & the Netherlands and spent the past years at a leading German healthcare consultancy. She completed her studies at LMU Munich, the Max Planck Institute for Tax Law and Public Finance, and Simon Fraser University (Canada) and holds a PhD in economics from LMU Munich.

Principal

Oliver Kaspi

Oliver is Principal at ISP HEALTHCARE with several years of experience in the life sciences and healthcare industry. Prior to joining ISP HEALTHCARE, he worked at a leading German healthcare consultancy, where he supported both global pharmaceutical companies as well as investors in the life sciences and healthcare sphere. Oliver holds a master’s degree in accounting & finance from the University of St. Gallen (HSG) and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from EBS University in Oestrich-Winkel and LUISS in Rome.

Senior Manager

Dr. Carina Gradl

Carina is Senior Manager at ISP HEALTHCARE with several years of experience in the life sciences and healthcare industry, both on the management consultancy as well as the provider side. After working as a dentist for several years, Carina joined a leading German healthcare consultancy and also gained experience by working for one of the leading, PE-owned dental groups in Germany. She studied dentistry (University of Regensburg) and holds a Master of Health Business Administration (Friedrich-Alexander-University Erlangen-Nürnberg) as well as a PhD in Orthodontics (University of Regensburg).

Manager

René Menger

René is Manager at ISP HEALTHCARE. He holds an interdisciplinary master’s in management & technology from the Technical University of Munich. He gained professional experience in management consulting as well as transactions including venture capital and M&A. Most recently, René worked for a leading consulting firm in the healthcare industry. At ISP he focuses on strategy and investor advice of both proven and innovative healthcare business models.

Manager

Robin Samson

Robin is Manager at ISP HEALTHCARE. He has several years of experience in managing M&A sell-side projects in the DACH region, specializing in company succession. In addition, Robin gained extensive experience at Europe’s largest independent corporate venture builder, by managing international innovation, ideation, and scale-up projects for multinational corporations. Academic achievements include a bachelor’s degree from the University of Life Sciences, Vienna, complemented by a master’s degree in executive management.

Felix Stahl

Felix is Manager at ISP Healthcare, bringing several years of expertise in transaction advisory. Before joining ISP Healthcare, he worked at a renowned European boutique consultancy, specializing in buy- and sell-side M&A and providing commercial and financial due diligence for financial and strategic investors. Felix holds a Master’s degree in Finance and Strategic Management from Copenhagen Business School.

Hassan Abu-Hamila, MBBCh

Hassan is a Consultant at ISP HEALTHCARE and a medical doctor. He studied medicine at Cairo University and gained clinical experience in the Middle East and Europe, working across different healthcare systems. In addition to his medical background, he worked in digital health in Berlin, where he was involved in a healthtech startup’s expansion into new regions.

Dr. Moritz Bensel

Moritz is Consultant at ISP HEALTHCARE. He is a medical doctor and studied in Würzburg, Kiel and Munich. In Kiel he did scientific research in Neurology and is completing his doctoral thesis at LMU Munich on the topic of prostate cancer. He collected practical experience in Urology, Orthopedics and Traumatology.

Chiara Dirkes

Chiara is Partnership Associate at ISP HEALTHCARE. She began her career in luxury hospitality with a global hotel chain, starting as a management assistant apprentice in Düsseldorf and later delivered high-level customer service in Vienna. With several years of experience in business development, consulting, and building expert networks, she now supports ISP HEALTHCARE’s customers to drive growth by building M&A-based partnerships.

Peter Kasper

Peter is Consultant at ISP HEALTHCARE. He holds a master’s degree in management and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management. During his studies, Peter gained experience in strategy consulting as well as venture capital, supporting projects across the healthcare and technology landscape.

Dr. Anna Lauffer

Anna is a Consultant at ISP HEALTHCARE with several years of experience in the clinical healthcare sector. She is a specialist in Internal Medicine and Nephrology and previously served as a Senior Physician at a maximum care hospital. Before joining ISP HEALTHCARE, Anna gained extensive clinical experience across various departments of Internal Medicine. She studied medicine at Heidelberg University and earned her MD at the University Hospital Heidelberg in the field of rheumatology. Currently, she is pursuing an Executive MBA in Medical Leadership, Strategic Management, and Medical Law at SRH University Heidelberg.

Dr. Alina Lyko

Alina is Consultant at ISP HEALTHCARE and a qualified dentist. She studied dentistry at Ludwig-Maximilians-University (LMU) in Munich, gaining a strong foundation in the field. Her professional experience includes general dentistry and orthodontics. In addition to her clinical work, Alina conducted scientific research at the University Hospital of Goethe University Frankfurt am Main, specializing in prosthetic dentistry.

Rafaella Mansour

Rafaella is Partnership Associate at ISP HEALTHCARE. She began her career in luxury hospitality, gaining valuable experience at some of the world’s most prestigious hotels in Vienna and Munich. Her dedication, multilingual communication, and exceptional people skills ensured outstanding service for an international clientele. With a proven track record in fostering partnerships and delivering excellence, Rafaella now leverages her expertise to support ISP HEALTHCARE’s clients in building impactful, M&A-driven partnerships that foster growth and innovation.

Joanna Stier

Joanna is a Consultant at ISP Healthcare, with prior experience in strategy consulting and corporate strategy. She holds a Master’s degree in Management from NOVA School of Business and Economics and a Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences from the University of Konstanz. During her studies, Joanna gained experience in various sectors within and beyond the healthcare landscape. Most recently, she worked for a leading strategy consulting firm focused on value creation.

Konstantin Stölting

Konstantin is Consultant at ISP HEALTHCARE. Prior to joining ISP HEALTHCARE, he worked at a private equity firm where he assessed potential targets and helped preparing transactions. During his studies, Konstantin already gained experience in M&A and private equity transactions. He completed his master’s degree in management with a specialization in Corporate Finance at ESSEC Business School in Paris and Singapore.

Thomas Seefeld

Thomas is Consultant at ISP HEALTHCARE. Previously, he worked at two renowned mid-market private equity firms and gained experience in assessing investment opportunities in the pharmaceutical, medical device and healthcare provider space. Thomas holds a master’s degree in finance from Esade Business School in Barcelona and a bachelor’s degree in international business administration.

Alen Taric

Alen is a Senior M&A Analyst at ISP HEALTHCARE. Prior to joining ISP HEALTHCARE, Alen was part of the M&A team at a Big Four firm, where he worked on sell- and buy-side transactions across a variety of industries. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration and a master’s degree in finance and accounting from WU Vienna. During his studies, he gained first insights into the healthcare industry while working at a global pharmaceutical company.

Anna Thiele

Anna is a Consultant at ISP Healthcare with a background in M&A, Venture Capital, and consulting. She holds a Master’s degree in Entrepreneurship from King’s College London and a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from Maastricht University. Throughout her studies, she gained experience in various sectors within and beyond the healthcare landscape. Most recently, she worked for a venture capital fund that, among other areas, invests in healthcare startups.

Florian Timm

Florian is Consultant at ISP HEALTHCARE and has worked on a number of commercial due diligence & value creation projects for investors in the healthcare & life sciences sector. Florian holds a master’s degree in management from the Esade Business School in Barcelona and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from EBS University in Oestrich-Winkel. During his studies, Florian gained experience in strategy consulting as well as private equity advisory with a focus on healthcare and life sciences.

Lukas Wallner

Lukas is Senior M&A Analyst at ISP HEALTHCARE with a background in finance and corporate strategy. He holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from WU Vienna and a master’s degree in finance from ESADE Business School in Barcelona, where he specialized in M&A and private equity. Before joining ISP HEALTHCARE, Lukas gained experience in corporate finance and sales at a major bank in Austria.

Accounting and Controlling

Viktor Daiker

Viktor is responsible for accounting and controlling at ISP Healthcare. He has more than 10 years of professional experience as an accountant/consolidator and controller in insourcing & optimization of accounting. As a certified fraud manager, he also has experience in leading internal audits. Before joining ISP Healthcare, he worked as an accounting department manager in a medium-sized engineering company. Viktor completed his business administration studies with focus on corporate taxation at the Augsburg University of Applied Sciences and is currently doing his master’s degree in corporate restructuring and insolvency law at the Trier University of Applied Sciences.
